You may have tried hard to find what you are looking for in stores to no avail – hence the decision to do it yourself. For instance some of the visuals you may have in mind include purple fabric shower curtain or ringless shower curtains {blended|accentuated|beautifully combined} with an assortment of beautiful colors but it’s not easy getting what you want because your local bathroom store doesn’t have them. How can you go around this? Simply do it yourself.

Below are some few pointers to get you started.

In order to make it lighter do not put any batting in it.

Quilts can make the curtain porous so you need to me tactful with your stitching.

I suggest you make a quilt top and then use plastic for the lining. Saw the quilt top to the lining and have the rivets made.

Sewing the quilt to the lining can cause it to be porous, hence my recommendation to consider sewing the quilt at the top. Unless you don’t have much of a problem with the leakage.

When making it like a quilt top that is pieced together you can then put a backing on it to hide the seams.

Instead of sewing the quilt to the plastic liner you can make the buttonholes across the top of the hooks. This is good especially when cleaning trying to clean the curtain i.e. you can simply wash the liner separately.
