First thing you must do is to recognize the type of windows that you have in your house.  I tell all my prospective clients of my San Diego window replacement service to check their windows.I want them to find out if their windows are single paned or double paned.If they are single paned then you are wasting a lot of money on energy savings so you must replace them immediately.

So why are you wasting money with single paned windows? Because they aren’t energy efficient.During hot season they retain heat inside the house so you would need more air conditioning.And during the cold season you would need more heating because the windows cannot retain the heat.So during the two seasons you would be using more enrgy leading to more energy costs.  The customers of my glass company San Diego are shocked to find this out but it is true.  So installing more energy efficent glass will save you money.

So there you have the reasons why you are wasting money with older windows.So if you still have those old windows in your homes then you must buy new ones already.In the long run it will save you more money and offest the cost of purchasing the new windows.
